Expo A Body Held

Starting November 13th there will be an exhibition in the Galery of Anouk Vilain.

This expo holds the title "A Body Held" since it's where I study the body as a place of vulnerability, protection and transformation.

Clay figures and—new to my work—a series of idiosyncratic drawings in which my quest repeatedly explores the boundary between the body and the world.

For the first time—and in a way new to the viewer—my drawings take their place alongside the sculptures as fully realized works. Two modes of observing, drawing, and shaping that meet, approaching the same questions from different directions.
I invite you to discover the works up close.
